I have a tiny metal wizard figurine (less than one inch tall) with a staff that has a teeny tiny crystal at the top, which struck me as magical when I admired it in Star Magic on San Francisco's 24th Street many years ago (sadly, Star Magic went out of business). My daughter saw me admire the wizard and got her dad, my husband, to buy him for me for my birthday that year. I think the wizard brings me luck when I remember to notice him! He's perched right next to a wagic wand I used to use when telling stories to my daughter and her friends when they were small.Laura McHale Hollandhttp://lauramchaleholland.comnoreply@blogger.com
